MODEL ACP- 3 AIR COOLED PORTABLE CHILLER
CAPACITY: 2.6 tons at 50 F leaving water at 95 F plant air

COMPRESSOR:

3 hp Copeland "SCROLL" compressor with hot gas by-pass for capacity control. Steps of capacity control: 100%, 50%, off.

EVAPORATOR:

Stainless steel braze plate 7.5 ton chiller vessel with 1" process connections with return line "Y" strainer.

CONDENSER:

Air cooled with copper tube and aluminum fins with a top discharge 1 hp propeller fan.

TANK:

Stainless steel vented tank insulated with 1/2" armaflex type insulation and complete with a water level sight gauge, fill vent cap and drain with shut-off valve. Size 6" x 10" x 22" high, capacity 6.5 gallons.

PUMP:

Stainless steel 3/4 hp close coupled to an ODP 3500 rpm motor with mechanical seal. Rated at 7.2 gpm at 45 psi. Discharge pressure gauge with shut-off valve.

CONTROLS:

Ranco solid state digital temperature controller with two (2) adjustable outputs, refrigeration high/low pressure safety, run and fail lights, compressor and fan motor internal overload protection in winding.

FOR FREEZE PROTECTION:

We use both a flow switch and a freeze thermostat.

COMPONENTRY:

Refrigeration expansion valve, sight glass, filter dryer, service valves, liquid line solenoid, hot gas solenoid with shut-off valve and crankcase heater off when compressor is operating.

FRAME:

Rugged welded stainless steel base frame with 5" casters: two swivel, two rigid.
