MODEL ACP - 5 AIR COOLED PORTABLE CHILLER
CAPACITY: 4.6 tons at 50 F leaving water at 95 F plant air

COMPRESSOR:

5 hp "SCROLL" compressor with hot gas by-pass for capacity control. Steps of capacity control: 100%, 50%, off.

EVAPORATOR:

Stainless steel braze plate 4 ton chiller vessel with 1" process connections and return line "Y" strainer.

CONDENSER:

Air cooled with copper tube and aluminum fins with a top discharge 1/5 hp propeller fan.

TANK:

Galvanized steel insulated tank rated for 75 psi pressure with a water level gauge, fill vent cap and drain with shut-off valve. Size 12" dia. - 36" long, capacity 18 gallons.

PUMP:

Stainless steel 1 hp close coupled to an ODP 3500 rpm motor with mechanical seal. Rated at 12 gpm at 45 psi. Discharge pressure gauge with shut-off valve.

CONTROLS:

Ranco solid state digital temperature controller with two (2) adjustable outputs, refrigeration high/low pressure safety, run and fail lights, compressor and fan motor internal overload protection in winding.

FOR FREEZE PROTECTION:

We use both a flow switch and a freeze thermostat.

COMPONENTRY:

Refrigeration expansion valve, sight glass, filter dryer, pump down valves, liquid line solenoid, hot gas solenoid with shut-off valve.

FRAME:

Rugged welded stainless steel base frame with 3 1/2" casters: two swivel, two rigid.
